Twelve Demonstration Projects
Twelve homebuilding teams have been selected by CMHC to build pilot demonstration homes throughout Canada. EQuilibrium homes combine resource- and energy-efficient technologies in order to reduce their environmental impact. They also provide healthier and more comfortable living spaces for their occupants.

EQuilibrium Housing Pilot Demonstration Initiative
It combines passive solar, energy efficient design, construction and appliances, integrated with commercially available on-site renewable energy systems to achieve net zero energy consumption on an annual basis.
